Park Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front Office Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the front office, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth operational procedures. The Front Office Supervisor will support and guide front office staff, manage guest relations, and handle administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities of Front Office Supervisor:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Oversee and manage the front office team, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure staff deliver excellent customer service.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
- Guest Relations:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly reception.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with VIP and special guest arrangements to ensure a memorable stay.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the front office, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing.
- Monitor room availability and manage booking systems to optimize occupancy.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections of the front office area to ensure cleanliness and order.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front office operations.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on feedback and industry best practices.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and submit reports on front office operations, occupancy rates, and other metrics.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage front office supplies and inventory.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate billing for guests.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures for the front office department.
- Reconcile daily accounts and prepare financial reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a front office or guest services role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
