We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Industrial Trainees to join our Food & Beverage Production team. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques in a high-paced resort environment. This role is ideal for hospitality students seeking practical exposure and learning opportunities in food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs in daily food preparation tasks and maintaining kitchen standards.
- Support the production of a variety of dishes, including international and local cuisines.
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are followed in all food handling and preparation areas.
- Participate in food quality control by assisting in portioning and presentation of dishes.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Learn and practice kitchen safety procedures and use of kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in special events and buffet setups, as required.
Key Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.
- Willingness to adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays.
